There was something for everyone at this years’ Royal Cornwall Show.
We’re very fortunate to have the Royal Cornwall Show every year, the county’s’ biggest annual event and is brim-full of exhibits and activities and activities which offer so much in the way of entertainment, competition, information, shopping and all the best parts of food and farming.
This was the 223rd year for the Royal Cornwall Show and the standard gets raised every year!
GoJute & South Westerly has been attending the show for the last 8 years and we look forward to it every time. This year we were really chuffed to gain a great pitch position at the end of a row of businesses in the main thoroughfare opposite the outstanding Dog Show (which Angie in particular, was pleased about!).
You’ll see from the photos that our stand was definitely one of the most eye-catching, thanks to the vivid and vibrant colours of the windbreaks and deckchairs. We had so many great compliments on the products and many business enquiries to boot.
We thought we’d try out some of our latest printed products, such as the ‘Grumpy Old Man’ and ‘KeepCalm & Drink Beer’ deckchairs, and the typography based tea towels and deckchairs. Needless to say, they were very popular what with Father’s Day fast approaching next week. It was a complete sell-out and we are now crazy busy re-printing more for the next few events on the agenda, the most exciting of which is of course Glastonbury Festival, which we are official sponsors of!
The weather wasn’t as atrocious as originally forecast, a bit of rain but nothing that would really effect peoples’ decision on coming to the show. All in all another fantatsic year.
The Royal Cornwall Show, it’s good for agriculture, good for tourism, good for the economy, the environment and good for the soul!
